• Brushing Up on Instant Challenge Basics:

This workshop is the same every year. It is designed to introduce first and second year teams to the basics of Instant Challenge and includes a roadmap of how to build from tackling basic to advanced IC. Your team will proceed through a series of hands-on activities designed to build performance and building skills that teams can immediately use in their next Instant Challenges.

• IC Prep for Acing Regionals Workshop: 

This workshop has different challenges every year.  These sessions will be hands-on Instant Challenges in the style of the Regional Tournament.  Each team will rotate through 5 challenges in a small group of 4 teams.  These challenges will include performance, building, combination, or communication challenges. The teams will do the challenge, perform the results for the other teams, and then get feedback from the highly experienced Student Coaches and ex-Team Managers.

• Going to State Instant Challenge Workshop: (for teams invited to State)

  • Saturday, March 6, River Place Elementary, 6500 Sitio Del Rio Blvd, Austin

This workshop has different challenges every year.  These sessions will be hands-on Instant Challenges in the style of the DI State Tournament....which means that there will be at least 1 team decision that must be made in little time. The way that your team approaches and makes that decision will determine the level of your success in that challenge.   State DI challenges are all about TEAMWORK.

This workshop has different challenges every year.  This workshop will be held in partnership with Capital Region Destination Imagination
